The Story & The Mission
My Mission
I render a continuum of services across the mental empowerment, financial literacy, and business development spaces to help them break the chains holding them back from their greatness.
My mission is to use a percentage of the revenue from my services to fund the development and sustainability of educational, entrepreneurial, and mentorship programming for transitional-aged adolescents to help circumvent the dependency on state and federal funds.
When you use my services, you’re helping to support the positive development of our next generation.
Brian A. Street, MSW grew up in Lucedale, MS, in a tight-knit, hardworking family. His father, a ship insulation supervisor, earned a steady income through grueling manual labor, while his mother balanced various blue-collar jobs to support Brian and his three siblings: Zenita, Dwarin, and Kimberley. Though life presented its share of challenges, Brian’s family embraced resilience and made the most of their circumstances. His father instilled a powerful lesson early on: education was the key to a future beyond the physical toll of back-breaking labor.
Brian took that lesson to heart, excelling in both academics and athletics during high school. Graduating in 2004 with a stellar 3.89 GPA, he set his sights on The University of Southern Mississippi (USM), becoming the first male in his paternal lineage to graduate high school and pursue higher education. But the transition to college life wasn’t seamless. Immersed in newfound freedom, Brian struggled to find balance as poor time management and a lack of prioritization initially hindered his journey.
Brian’s early college years were marked by misplaced priorities. He spent countless hours in the on-campus athletic facility while procrastinating on his schoolwork, resulting in a steep decline in his GPA to 1.76 after five semesters. This academic performance led to suspension in the summer of 2007, forcing Brian to leave school and enter the working world.
Reality hit hard during this challenging period. Alongside the pressures of full-time work, Brian welcomed the birth of his son with his girlfriend, whom he had met just a year earlier. Determined to create a better future for his growing family, Brian found renewed purpose and re-enrolled at The University of Southern Mississippi in the summer of 2010. With a transformed mindset, he excelled academically, consistently maintaining a GPA between 3.5 and 4.0, even after marrying the mother of his child.
In early 2012, Brian crossed paths with successful and influential business leaders who profoundly shaped his outlook on life and career (a pivotal moment explored later). By December of the same year, he achieved a major milestone: earning dual bachelor's degrees—a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Days after graduation, Brian embraced a new chapter by relocating to Miami, FL, for a promising transitional job opportunity.
Excitement quickly turned to hardship when the job unexpectedly fell through, leaving Brian in a severe financial bind just three months after arriving in Miami. The stakes were even higher now, as his wife was expecting their second child, a daughter.
Life took a sharp downturn after Brian’s job fell through, plunging him into one of the darkest periods of his life. (Many of these struggles, deeply personal and harrowing, will be shared in one of his upcoming books.) Yet, even in the face of adversity, Brian found strength in the connections he had made in 2012. He began to recognize the resilience, resourcefulness, and determination within himself—qualities that would pave the way for his comeback.
Drawing on self-taught skills, Brian quickly secured a few jobs to stabilize his finances while building his home-based business on the side. This tenacity soon led to a role in his field of study, marking the beginning of a promising career. Over the next few years, he expanded his network, forming relationships with influential and affluent individuals who inspired him to dive deeper into the art of entrepreneurship.
Brian's efforts paid off, and after nearly three years in Miami, he had established himself as a respected professional in the South Florida area. However, he began to feel constrained by the limitations of his work and yearned for greater fulfillment. When the opportunity to return to The University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg arose, Brian seized it. This move became the springboard he needed to pursue his larger vision of making a meaningful and lasting impact.
Upon returning to The University of Southern Mississippi to pursue his Master’s degree, Brian quickly immersed himself in opportunities to create meaningful change. His drive and entrepreneurial spirit led to notable accomplishments at both local and state levels. He competed in and won business challenges, which paved the way for co-founding Blueprint Health, a State of Mississippi Incorporated Business, as well as establishing The Eagle’s Nest Food Pantry, a nonprofit organization serving the campus community. Additionally, he developed a mentorship curriculum for a Nutrition and Mentorship Program aimed at addressing critical needs in the Mississippi Delta.
Brian’s impact extended far beyond these ventures. He delivered youth empowerment speeches, conducted public school faculty trainings, and served as a keynote speaker at an economic education luncheon. His influence reached across state lines, with appearances at a Mobile, AL youth leadership summer academy and a Baton Rouge, LA business workshop. Through his dynamic involvement, Brian demonstrated a passion for empowering others and a commitment to creating sustainable solutions for underserved communities.
Before the COVID-19 pandemic, Brian served as a life coach and international personal enrichment coaching facilitator, all while pursuing a Ph.D. in Social Entrepreneurship at Louisiana State University. His doctoral work focused on leveraging social entrepreneurship projects to bridge financial gaps in addressing critical social issues, particularly in adolescent mentorship. During this time, Brian also established himself as a sought-after guest lecturer and speaker, regularly engaging with bachelor’s and master’s level students across the South.
Recently, Brian has expanded his reach by empowering communities through financial education and supporting the growth of minority-owned businesses. His commitment to uplifting others continues to shine as he takes the stage as a guest and keynote speaker for youth empowerment events nationwide, inspiring the next generation of leaders and changemakers. As of 2024, Brian works extensively with individuals to grow their businesses, improve their financial situations, and enhance their mental well-being through his own company and in partnership with The XQ-SLESS Wellness Support Tribe, a global community dedicated to holistic support. Recently, he also partnered with the Mississippi Behavioral Health Learning Network to deliver continuing education workshops for public health and university professionals throughout Mississippi, further expanding his impact on professional development and community well-being.
In addition to his partnerships and coaching, Brian continues to inspire as a guest and keynote speaker at youth empowerment events across the nation, empowering individuals to unlock their potential and make a lasting impact in their communities.
Brian has experienced a decent amount of accomplishments over the past few years but has plans to have a much larger impact throughout the coming years.
