Life is short, definitely too short to live it doing something that you don’t enjoy doing. You have to find your purpose, find your passion, find your gift and go at it with your all. It will NOT be easy. You will fall on your face numerous times, but that’s part of the journey! Embrace the struggles and embrace the difficulties! It is only through struggle that we can grow. Welcome all of the difficulties that you can, the more difficulties you face without quitting, the closer you will get to perfecting your craft.
There will be lots of negativity along the way. There will be many people who don’t believe in you and will constantly try to discourage you. They love to see you struggle and pray for the day that you quit. If you quit, they will definitely win. You cannot allow the haters and dream killers to prevent you from chasing your dreams. They will make jokes about you, they will make sarcastic comments, they will dismiss your ideas before they even fully hear them. Don’t be the weak person that allows this to get under your skin and get you down. They will constantly say that you can’t do it. Utilize their disbelief in you as the fuel to prove that you CAN. The best revenge against dream killers and negative people is MASSIVE SUCCESS!
If you really want to be successful at what you love you WILL succeed. Yes, there will be disappointments and failures will happen along the way, but failures are a necessary ingredient on the road to success. You need to taste failure before you can savor the taste of success. Be a humble loser until you win, and then be a humble winner. Don’t allow it to go to your head when you achieve success because you won’t be the talk of town forever. You must KEEP working hard and grinding! You have to continuously hustle to become better than you currently are.
Success is allergic to average. The average person quits after just a few failures. Don’t be average or you will never experience the greatness of success. Push and push and push. Be persistent! Don’t give up and prove yourself worthy of success, but before you consider yourself a success you must have positively affected the lives of others. If you want it bad enough you’ll make it happen, if you don’t, you’ll make an excuse!
During this holiday season, just as most, I would like to give thanks for all I that I have been blessed with.
First, I give thanks to the Highest and All Mighty for allowing me to live the life that I live, at the capacity which I live it. I thank Him for my strength and intelligence to capitalize on the opportunities that He places before me, I thank Him for all the blessings He has planned for my future and definitely thank him for giving me my positive and optimistic outlook on life.
Second, I want to give thanks for my family which is currently three states away spending the holidays with my wife’s side. I’m thankful for the joy they bring me, the challenges they bring me and the opportunity to work hard at setting up and providing for a positive wonderful future for them.
Third, I give thanks for my parents who directly and indirectly instilled so many values in me that have developed me into who I am and continue to develop me into who I will become.
Lastly, I want to give thanks for all you friends and associates who have been and continue to be supportive and encouraging forces in my life’s endeavors; and at the same time I am thankful for all you negative people who do not believe in my dreams, who doubt my abilities, who do not support me even after you act as if and even saying that you will support me. I thank you for being a source of indirect motivation for me to become more than you could ever imagine.
What is it that you think about the most? Have you ever stopped to think about that; to think about what you think about? Most people don’t think about things like that, and that’s exactly why they will never reach the level of success that they truly aim to reach.
You must consciously feed your brain with positive, enriching, and intellectually stimulating on a regular basis messages in order to really get the full experience of joy, pleasure and success out of life.
I ask you to examine what it is that you let into your mind during the course of the next 21 days. Conciously keep negative thoughts out while pumping positive thoughts in. Consciously tune negative media out while tuning in to a great book that will stimulate a success mentality. Consciously seek the good in every situation no matter how bad it may appear at face value.
This task will not be easy for most people because most people allow the negativity in our society to formulate their attitude and way of thinking, and then they become a direct reflection of the negativity that they have let into their mind. Don’t become what the world wants to conform you into, become greater! Be the other statistic; be the 3%.
21 days of repetition can transform this task into a way of life for you. It happened for me, and it can happen for you. Now get out there and make the world your playground.
