The vast majority of our school systems and educational facilities teach on the notion that knowledge is power. They supply our youth with what they feel is the best methodology of educating them to be prepared to go out and take on the world.
The teachers become the liking of a robotic machine monotonously lecturing the same historic information that has been lectured on for decades with the idea that they are preparing these students to go out and succeed in life. While most of them have all the best intentions in mind this simply isn’t enough.
The acquisition of knowledge is indeed highly recommended yet simply the acquisition of this knowledge alone does no good if you don’t know how to apply this knowledge to the real world. Young men and women alike around the country are completing high school today with no idea on how to independently survive, let alone thrive in the society that is unleashed on them upon graduation. The rapid advances in technology have developed the true reality to be nowhere near the what the typical high school education has prepared these young people to take on.
These high school graduates have an abundance of knowledge that has been drilled into their heads for the past four years, yet there was no class that taught them how to pull that knowledge from within and apply it to their respective career pursuits. There was no adviser or counselor there to actually guide these students in the proper direction which would give them the highest odds to thrive in life.
That being said, Knowledge is NOT Power, it is the potential of power. Upon graduation from any institute, regardless of the level of education you have acquired, it is a necessity to continue to self-educate. Never stop studying and polishing your craft. Never stop topping your best and NEVER let anyone else tell you what you can or can not do. Do all of this and you will attain the tools necessary to bring full power to your knowledge.
You deserve to live a life of purpose!
